Hello, I'm Rachel and I would like to welcome you to Rach's Cakes.
Prior to baking for a living, I spent all of my working life helping people as a nurse for the NHS.
I originally trained as a paediatric nurse, then went on to become a neonatal intensive care nurse in the UK's largest level 3 unit before nursing in the community as a health visitor. I finished my NHS career as a children's safeguarding nurse.
Crazy about cakes!
So how did I get here? Another passion of mine is baking, so I decided to take the plunge and have a complete change of direction!
Baking for me is creating something that not only looks delicious, but tastes just as delicious too! Something that makes you happy!
And that's what Rach's Cakes is all about - gorgeous, yummy creations to put a smile on your face!
